Baseball cap is my new hero piece for fall winter 2022. Especially when I want to wear a leopard dress. Even though the leopard dress is seemingly always on-trend, this outfit wouldn't be as chic and fashionable if it weren't for the baseball cap. Besides, a baseball cap looks so great with a dress in leopard print, doesn't it? Here is the thing; after reading the post about my winter airport outfit, you know the one in which you saw me wearing this brown suede baseball cap for the first time, my fashionable friends challenged me to style the same brown baseball cap, which happens to be the edgiest hair accessory, with a leopard print dress. Which was at the time the most stylish dress to wear.

Yes, they wanted me to style my new brown baseball cap with the leopard print dress. Like wearing solely, a baseball cap wouldn't be challenging enough.

Anyway, since I saw this not only as a fashion challenge but as an opportunity to show you how to style your favourite but now not the most fashionable dress for winter, I said yes. And this is what we got.

HOW TO WEAR THE EDGIEST HEADWEAR – BASEBALL CAP WITH LEOPARD PRINT DRESS

Wait, this is not all that we got. Apart from these photos you see here, we got many photos in which I look like I'm suffering or merely want to run. Not that I felt uncomfortable or not self-confident, but I just don't know how to pose while wearing a baseball cap. Yet!

Well, I told you wearing a baseball cap with a leopard print dress is not as easy as it seems. But as long as you match the colour of the print with the baseball cap and figure out how to pose, you know for the insta proof (didn't happen if not on Instagram), you should be fine.

Anyway, back to the leopard print and on how to wear leopard print dress with a baseball cap. Again, it's all in the colour of the baseball cap. A baseball cap should be brown in this case.

I know, you already have a leopard print dress. Perhaps even the same as I am wearing here. Yes, this dress is from Zara. But just in case you accidentally ripped your leopard print Zara dress or can't find it under the piles of knits, here is where to get it now. OFF-WHITE LONG COAT

Now that you know where to find leopard print dress, it's time we look where to get all the things I styled my maxi leopard print dress with.

Starting with the coat, which is obviously a must right now. A double breasted coat is not only one of the most fashionable coats for winter 2022/23, but also the best type of coat to wear with a maxi leopard print dress and brown baseball cap.

Surely I could wear my maxi leopard print dress with any other long, lean coat, but you know me. Once a Max Mara girl, always Max Mara girl (here is where to shop Max Mara coat; also here – it's shorter than mine). Besides, the length of this coat couldn't be better.

Long enough to match the maxi dress and short enough to let the boots peek from under the dress as I walk.

OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

Mentioning the boots, yes, over the knee boots are the reason you found this outfit familiar. I shared the fashion cheat sheet from above once before already.

For the end, gloves (shop similar here) and the bag. Well, I did a little faux pas with my bag. It's not exactly brown nor bronze which would be a far better choice for winter 2022. Still, it matches gloves and refreshes the look.

Nevertheless, I advise you to grab a brown bag (like this one here, or a more affordable bag like that one here). You know to go for the fashionable leopard and brown monochrome look.

If you are looking for a pop of colour, then just put on this lipstick. I would wear it too if I didn't go for the smokey eye before.
